To provide user access to Novell iFolder 2.1 x:
Create User objects in eDirectory.
Enable the User objects as Novell iFolder users.
Have users create their Novell iFolder accounts by installing and using the Novell iFolder Client. They can then access Novell iFolder in the following ways:
On their local workstation
Changes to their local iFolder are synchronized with the Novell iFolder server.
Using NetDrive to create a mapped drive to the Novell iFolder server
Using NetStorage to access the Novell iFolder server (providing you have enabled NetStorage for access to the Novell iFolder server)
The NetDrive and NetStorage options provide direct access to the data store on the server, bypassing the local iFolder.
