7.0 Setting Up a Secure Printing Environment

This sections discusses setting up a secure printing environment using the following methods:

Setting Access Control for Your Print System lets you assign users to a User, Operator, or Manager role to control printers, Print Managers, and Driver Stores.
Using SSL/TLS for Secure Printing requires users to authenticate before installing and printing to a printer.

NOTE:Currently, access control and printing using SSL or TLS is only supported with the Windows iPrint Client.
