23.18 Quotas Commands

NSS provides these additional commands for managing pools and volumes. To view a complete list, use the nss /help command.

Description

nss /ChangeSysQuota=size

Lets you change the quota (in MB) for the sys: volume. Setting this value to zero sets the Quota to none and allows the sys: volume to grow to the size of the pool.

nss /NoClassicDirectoryQuotas=
volume

For NSS on NetWare, turns emulation of Traditional NetWare volumes on or off.

[Default=Off]

nss /DirectoryQuotas=volume

Enables the Directory Quotas attribute on the volume.

nss /NoDirectoryQuotas=volume

Disables the Directory Quotas attribute on the volume.

nss /UserSpaceRestrictions
=volume

Enables the User Quotas attribute on the volume.

nss /NoUserSpaceRestrictions
=volume 

Disables the User Quotas attribute on the volume.

nss /FixDirectoryQuotas=volume

Recomputes used space for directory quotas for the specified volume.
