The Apple Filing Protocol (AFP) support for NSS files is implemented via a technology that bypasses the real-time scanning employed by most OES antivirus solutions.
To protect NSS files that are shared through an AFP connection, set up an antivirus solution that supports on-demand scanning on the OES 11 SP3 server, or real-time and on-demand scanning on the Apple client.
