Name

ipsmd - The daemon for the Novell iPrint Services.

Syntax

ipsmd <options>

Options

Usage Options:

-c, ‘config file’

Lets you specify an alternative ipsmd configuration file.

-m

Lets you run ipsmd without monitor process.

-n

Indicates that ipsmd should not be daemonized.

-R

Lets you run ipsmd as a 'root' user.

-r, 'savedDBFile'

Restores the Managed Object Database from the saved file.

NOTE:Include only the filename without a path.

-x, <XML File>

Lets you import the XML file.

-u

Allows you to enter the username in FQDN LDAP format.

-P

Allows you to enter the password for authentication.

Help Options:

-h, --help

Display the help information and exit.
