For automated deployments, any method that can launch the ZCM agent deployment package is suitable. This means that the steps in Section 13.1, Manual Deployment must be executed via a scripting method.
Novell Consulting recommends that you install the ZCM agent via AutoYaST within a post-installation script and that you use the same procedure for registering the device at its target location and server groups. For more information, see The zcm-install.sh Script.
