Delete the symbolic link /var/opt/novell/tomcat6-32bit/webapps/qfsearch.
To restart Tomcat, run
rcnovell-tomcat6-32bit restart
This removes the QuickFinder registration with Tomcat, and QuickFinder no longer loads.
