During the development phase of a new installation (that is, a new service type), the ability to inspect the installation proposal created by YaST before the installation is invoked can save a lot of time.
This can be achieved by specifying the y2confirm parameter at the boot prompt.
When this parameter is set, YaST stops when the installation proposal is complete and only when the proposal has been accepted, just as you need to do in a manual installation.
