This section describes enhancements and changes in Novell CIFS, beginning with the initial release Novell Open Enterprise Server (OES) 2015 SP1.
Beginning with OES 2015 SP1, Active Directory and eDirectory users can perform Salvage or Purge operation through NFARM utility.
For example, Active Directory and eDirectory users can recover or permanently delete the files or folders that are already deleted.
You can enable or disable DFS support for the CIFS server. By default, this option is disabled.
