To surf the Internet or send and receive e-mail messages, you must have
configured an Internet connection with YaST as described in Section 1.14.3, Network,
(↑ Start-Up ) or in Section 20.4.1, Configuring the Network Card with YaST,
(↑ Reference ). Depending on your environment, select whether to use NetworkManager or the
traditional method. For a list of criteria that help you to decide which
method to use, refer to Section 10.0, Managing Network Connections with NetworkManager,
(↑ Start-Up ) and Section 9.1.2, Integration in Changing Operating Environments,
(↑ Start-Up ). If you use NetworkManager, establish and
manage Internet connections in KDE with the KNetworkManager desktop applet. Find
