PolyServe Matrix Server Database Solution Packs for Oracle9i/10g Hi-Av and Oracle9i/10g Real Application Clusters are available for download as ISO images. After you download the ISO files and burn the ISO images to CD, an exact duplicate of the original PolyServe Matrix Server Database Solution Packs CD is created. While it is possible to install PolyServe Matrix Server Database Solution Packs from the ISO images by mounting the images as file systems, it is suggested that you create a CD using the appropriate image. Create the installation CD according to the instructions for your CD imaging software.

Download Instructions

If you are planning on running Oracle9i/10g in Hi-Av mode using PolyServe Matrix Server, then you should download the file MxDBv2.7.0-HA-Linux.iso. If you are planning on running Oracle9i Real Application Clusters using PolyServe Matrix Server, then you should download the file ODMv2.1.3-SLES8.iso. Please note that the Hi-Av solution includes ODM.

  1. On the PolyServe Matrix Server Database Solution Packs for Oracle9i/10g Hi-Av and Oracle9i/10g Real Application Clusters Downloads page, click the Download button next to the appropriate ISO file name.
  2. Follow the onscreen prompts to download the ISO file to a directory on your machine.
  3. Burn a CD from the ISO image.

Note: Do not burn the ISO file to CD. Burn the contents of the ISO file (the ISO image) to CD.

Installing PolyServe Matrix Server Database Solution Packs for Oracle9i/10g Hi-Av and Oracle9i/10g Real Application Clusters

The PolyServe Matrix Server Database Solution Pack Installation and Administration Guides for these two products are contained in the user_gd.pdf files on the CDs, and contain detailed instructions for installing and configuring the solution packs in your environment. Please read the appropriate document in its entirety before installing the product.
