PolyServe Matrix Server 3.1 for SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 is available for download as one of two ISO image files. After you download the ISO file and burn the image to CD, an exact duplicate of the original PolyServe Matrix Server 3.1 CD is created. While it is possible to install PolyServe Matrix Server 3.1 from the ISO image by mounting the image as a file system, it is suggested that you create a CD using the image. Create the installation CD according to the instructions for your CD imaging software.

Download Instructions

  1. On the PolyServe Matrix Server 3.1 for SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 Downloads page, click the Download button next to MxSv3.1.0-SLES9-32bit.iso or MxSv3.1.0-SLES9-64bit.iso, depending on whether you are running on a 32- or a 64-bit system.
  2. Follow the onscreen prompts to download the ISO file to a directory on your machine.
  3. Burn a CD from the ISO image.

Note: Do not burn the ISO file to CD. Burn the contents of the ISO file (the ISO image) to CD.

Installing PolyServe Matrix Server for SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9

The PolyServe Matrix Server Installation Guide, contained in the Docs directory of the CD, contains detailed instructions for installing and configuring Matrix Server in your environment. Please read this document in its entirety before installing this product.

Note: To those customers who have licensed the Cluster Volume Manager option, there is nothing new you will need to either download or install. The CVM is part of the base product and is activated via the appropriate license key.
