This section describes the maintenance tasks that are involved for Advisor.
You must change your Advisor eLogin password only when your Novell eLogin password is changed. If you are configured for automated downloads for Advisor, then you need to perform this. You can change your Advisor eLogin password by using the Download Manager feature. For more information on Download Manager, see Section 9.0, Download Manager.
Open the Download Manager by performing either of the following:
Click > .
Click the Download Manager icon on the tool bar.
The Download Manager window is displayed.
Select the download configuration for which you want to change the password, then click .
NOTE:If you change the password for an Active download configuration, the advisor feed is downloaded, but an error message is displayed. For more informaion on troubleshooting this error, see <Troubleshooting section - TBD>.
The Edit window is displayed.
Specify the new password in the field.
(Optional) Click to validate the URL and the login credentials.
The URL and its credentials are validated and a confirmation message is displayed. If the validation fails, then you must provide a valid URL and the login credentials.
Click to save the configuration settings.
