Consolidating Data from NetWare Servers

The Server Consolidation Utility is a Windows* program that is launched from the Start menu. It has a helpful interface that guides you through each step of the process.

To launch the utility, click Start > Programs > Novell Server Consolidation Utility > Novell Server Consolidation Utility. Then complete the following tasks:

1. Understand NetWare Server Consolidation Issues.
2. Create a Project File.
3. Select a Source and Destination Tree.
4. Model Your Consolidation Project.
5. Perform Pre-Copy Verifications.
6. Resolve Errors.
7. Run the Consolidation.

In addition, this chapter contains information on the following optional tasks:

1. Consolidating Data to or from a NetWare 5.1 Cluster.
2. Consolidating Data to Nterprise Branch Office.
