10.0 Using Remote Applications on Your Teaming Site

A remote application is a program that runs on a remote server and delivers data for use on your NovellĀ® Teaming site (for example, data from a remote database). For example, you could set up a remote application for Twitter* that displays all of your Twitter entries in Teaming.

Unlike creating an extension for Teaming, creating a remote application does not modify the Teaming software in any way.

If you want to make modifications to the Teaming software itself, you can add a software extension, as described in Section 9.0, Adding Software Extensions to Your Teaming Site.
