8.5 Populating Elements in the Folder View

After you create and enable a folder view, you need to populate and customize some of the elements that you included in the view.

For example, if you added a Branding element, you need to create your brand to display in the folder; if you added a Description element, you need to populate the element with a description of the folder; if you added an Attachment element, you need to attach any files that you want to display in the folder, and so forth.

  1. Ensure that the folder view has been created and enabled as the default folder view, as described in Section 8.2, Creating a New Custom Folder View and Section 8.4, Enabling the Folder View.

  2. Navigate to the folder where you enabled the folder view.

  3. Click Folder > Edit Folder in the Action toolbar.

A page with all of form elements that you added to the folder form is displayed. (If you want these elements to be displayed in the folder, ensure that you have also added them to the folder view, as described in Section 8.2.3, Adding Elements to the Folder View.)

  4. Populate the elements with the desired information.

For example, create your folder brand, add a folder description, attach any files, and so forth.

  5. Click OK.
