7.1 Understanding Workspace Forms and Views

When creating custom workspace views, you must create both the form and the view.

The workspace view is what users see when they access the workspace. Each view must have a corresponding form. The form is how workspace administrators enter data, which is then displayed in the workspace view. Forms contain a series of fields, presented in a specific order and layout that you define.

For example, the form for a Team workspace is what workspace administrators see when they edit the workspace by clicking the Configure icon next to the workspace title, and then clicking Edit Workspace. It looks like this:
