The Velocity management suite is a Web-based solution. This is reflected in its management interface, which consists of dynamically generated, fully interactive Web pages served by the management server to your Web browser.

Context-sensitive help is available for every interface screen or page containing a Help button. The sections in this manual comprise this context-sensitive help. When you click a Help link in the interface, the related help topic will open directly in a separate browser window.
When viewing this information online, you can navigate through the help for all interface screens by clicking the headings in the contents menu in the left frame. You can also access the other manuals in the product documentation and perform HTML searches for other information.
For ease-of-use and product consistency, Excelerator XL 1.0 and the Velocity management server share the same management interface. However, the screens and pages that appear in the interface change depending on

This indicates that the screen or option appears when managing Excelerator XL 1.0 devices using either the device-based System Controller or the Velocity management suite.
This indicates that the screen or option appears only when managing 2.x cache devices using the Velocity management suite.
This indicates that the screen or option appears only when managing Excelerator XL 1.0 cache devices using the Velocity management suite.
NOTE: The screen does not appear in Excelerator XL 1.0's device-based System Controller.
This indicates that the screen manages functionality available only in the Velocity management suite.
