For assistance using NetWare Web Search Manager to manage collections and indexes, click any of the Help buttons from within NetWare Web Search Manager. For asssistance using the NetWare Web Search page, click the Help button located in the search form.
Type HTTPS://domainname:portnumber in your Web browser's address field, where portnumber is the portnumber of your NetWare Web Manager > press Enter.
Under NetWare Web Search Server, click the server name button, where server name is the name of your NetWare Web Search Server.
To configure any of the Web Services you have installed, you need a Web browser, such as Netscape Navigator or Navigator Gold* 3.0 or later, Netscape Communicator, Internet Explorer* or any other browser that supports Java* and JavaScript*. If you don't have a browser installed on your computer, install the version of Netscape Navigator from your Novell CD. You must enable Java or JavaScript in your Web browser because all of the configuration forms in Web Manager and the server managers use one or both of these forms of Java to function.
To enable Java in Netscape Navigator:
From the browser window, click Options > Network Preferences.
Select the Language tab and make sure Java and JavaScript are checked.
Click OK.
To enable Java in Netscape Communicator:
From the Communicator browser window, click Edit > Preferences.
Select the Advanced category in the left column.
Check the Enable Java and Enable JavaScript check boxes.
Click OK.
To enable Java in Internet Explorer 4 or higher:
From the Internet Explorer browser window, click Tools > Internet Options.
Select the Advanced tab.
Under Java VM, check Java JIT Compiler Enabled.
Click OK.
