The following licensing is available for Novell® ZENworks® 10 Configuration
Management SP3 (10.3).
Standard Edition:
- Full license: Configuration Management
- 60-day evaluation: Asset Management, Patch Management
Advanced Edition:
- Full license: Configuration Management, Patch Management (requires maintenance agreement or upgrade protection), Linux Management, and Handheld Management
- 60-day evaluation: Asset Management
Enterprise Edition:
- Full license: Configuration Management, Asset Management, Patch Management (requires maintenance agreement or upgrade
protection), Endpoint Security Management, Linux Management, and Handheld Management
For 60-day evaluations, you need to either discontinue using them or license them at the end of the 60-day period. If you license the software, you will be given a license code to continue using it. No reinstallation of the software is required.
downloading the software
You can use the ISOs available on this page only to install ZENworks 10 Configuration Management SP3 on a device that does not already have ZENworks 10 Configuration Management. If you want to upgrade a device that has previous versions of the ZENworks 10 Configuration Management installed, see the ZENworks 10 Configuration Management SP3 Upgrade Guide at the Novell ZENworks Documentation Web site.
To download the ISOs and install ZENworks 10 Configuration Management SP3:
- If the download page displays a Proceed to Download button, you are not logged in yet. Click the button to log in. After you log in, you are returned to the download page.
- Click the Download button next to
a file you want to download.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to download the file to a directory
on your device.
- Repeat from Step 2 until you have downloaded all the files you need.
To deploy ZENworks Appliance, do the following:
1. Do one of the following to download the ZENworks Appliance files:
- Download the ZENworks Appliance OVA file:
- Click the Download button next to ZENworks_Appliance.x86_64-10.3.0.ova.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to download the file to a directory on your device.
- Download the multi-part ZENworks Appliance ZIP files:
- On the Download page, click the Download button next to ZENworks_Appliance.x86_64-10.3.0.zip.001 to download the file to a temporary directory on your device.
- Download ZENworks_Appliance.x86_64-10.3.0.zip.002 and ZENworks-Appliance.x86-64-10.3.0.zip.003 to the temporary directory that contains ZENworks_Appliance.x86_64-10.3.0.zip.001.
- Extract ZENworks_Appliance.x86_64-10.3.0.zip.001 by using 7-zip or WinZip 9.x.
This automatically merges all the multi-part ZENworks Appliance ZIP files and creates the ZENworks-Appliance.x86-64-10.3.0.ova file.
2. Import the ZENworks Appliance OVA file and deploy it to a virtual infrastructure.
