10.6 Adding Purchased Licenses to a Catalog Product

There are two ways to add purchased licenses to a catalog product:

You can import a purchase record file that includes the purchased licenses. The purchase record is created and, if the software product name in the purchase record matches the catalog product name, the purchased licenses are associated with the catalog product. You can manually create a new purchase record and add a purchase detail that is associated with the catalog product. The license quantity included in the purchase detail is added to the catalog product. For instructions, see Section 9.4.2, Manually Creating Purchase Records.
