Novell Licensing Services (NLS) must be installed before you can use Application Launcher/Explorer to meter software licenses. NLS is included with NetWare 4.x, 5.x, and 6, and with Novell Cluster ServicesTM . Because NLS administration is performed through NetWare® Administrator, software metering is not available in a pure Windows 2000 environment.
