Source:  Inventory Installation

Severity:  Critical

Explanation:  When you install the database, you must assign a unique site ID.

Based on the site information of the database, you can query an individual database, report information, and view inventory information of workstations specific to the database. For example, if there are inventory databases at different geographical locations, you can query the inventory information of workstations from each site database. You can query the database with the site name, such as Adelaide, or view the collective information of the Enterprise server database with the site name AusInvDb.

ZfD does not verify whether the site information is unique. The ZfD administrator must ensure that the site information identifies the database uniquely.

Action:  Type a valid site ID.
