NDS Design for ZENworks and NDS for NT

By following a few basic guidelines, you can design an NDSTM tree that meets the needs of your network environment.

These guidelines contain specific instructions for designing NDS trees for ZENworksTM and NDS for NT.

Specific design recommendations allow you to efficiently use ZENworks and NDS for NT. For example, ZENworks introduces new Workstation objects into the NDS tree, which could double the number of total objects in your NDS tree. NDS for NT integrates Windows NT* domains into the NDS tree and adds all of its users.

An NDS design can be completed quickly once you understand certain concepts. Having a plan before beginning an installation will save you time in the long run, and your design can serve as your installation guide.
