Novell® ZENworks® Orchestrator includes a Java* Client SDK in which you can write Java applications to remotely manage jobs. The ZOS command line tool is written using the Client SDK, as described in Section A.0, Orchestrator Client SDK. This SDK application can perform the following operations:
Login and logout to an Orchestrator Server.
Manage the life cycle of a job (run/cancel).
Monitor running jobs (get job status).
Communicate to a runing job using events.
Receive events from a running job.
Search for grid objects using constraints.
Retrieve and mondify grid object facts.
Datagrid operations (such as copying files to the server and downloading files from the server).
