2.8 Configuring an Update

After the system update is prepared, it should be configured before deploying. During configuring the system update, ZENworks collects relevant user data that is required for the updates. This is an optional step, if the update requires any configuration inputs, only then you will be asked to configure the update.

To configure a system update:

  1. In ZENworks Control Center, click Configuration in the left pane, then click the System Updates tab.

  2. Select the check box for the system update that you want to configure.

  3. Click Action > Configure Update.

    Administrators with configure system rights can configure the system update.

    After clicking the Configure Update button, a new tab will open in which you will be able to configure the update.

NOTE:It is recommended that you login to the ZCC using the host name.

NOTE:After Upgrading to ZENworks 2017, only Administrators with Configure Updates rights can configure the system update.
