To back up the certificate authority files on the Primary Server that is configured to be the ZENworks internal certificate authority:
At the command prompt of the ZENworks Server, enter the following command:
zman certificate-authority-export (certificate-authority-export/cae) [options] (file path)
For example, zman cae C:\temp\zenbackup\ca.bak on Windows and in the zman cae /tmp/zenbackup/ca.bak on Linux.
This command exports the key-pair credentials of the zone certificate authority to a file. For more information about zman certificate authority commands, see ZENworks 11 Command Line Utilities Reference.
Enter the username and password of the administrator of the Management Zone.
Enter a passphrase for the file encryption.
Make sure you remember this passphrase. You must enter it if you ever need to restore the server.
