Before you begin to use the pull deployment method to deploy the ZENworks Adaptive Agent, perform the following tasks:
Create an L4 definition:
In ZENworks Control Center, click thetab.
In the Management Zone Settings panel, click, then click to display the Closest Server Default Rule page.
In the Create Empty L4 Switch Definition dialog box, specify the IP address or DNS name of the L4 switch.
Add Primary Server to the L4 switch:
Select the Primary Server that you want to add to the L4 switch, then click> .
In the Add to Existing/New L4 Switch Definition dialog box, specify the L4 IP address or DNS name for a new L4 switch definition or select an existing L4 definition from the drop-down list, then click.
(Optional) Add an L4 switch definition to a location:
Select the location that you want to add to the L4 switch, then clicktab.
In the Add Existing L4 Switch Definition dialog box, select an existing L4 definition from the drop-down list, then click.
Edit the deployment package to add the L4 switch IP address.

On the L4 switch console, enable the sticky bit or persistent bind with the stick age set to 30 minutes.
