Before you can use ZENworks 11 SP3 to upgrade OES11 SP1 servers to OES11 SP2, you must have the following:
A ZENworks 11 SP3 server installed and running in your network. For more information, see ZENworks 11 SP4 Server Installation Guide.
The ZENworks 11 SP3 Agent installed on each OES11 SP1 server that you plan to upgrade.
Each OES11 SP1 server registered with the ZENworks 11 SP3 server.
Each OES11 SP1 server updated with the latest OES11 SP1 and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 11 SP2 patches. It does not matter which update method you use.
