1.0 Getting Started

You should start by reading the information in the ZENworks 6 Getting Started guide. The Getting Started guide includes the following:

The Getting Started guide (ZENworks6GettingStarted.pdf) is located in the Documentation directory on the ZENworks 6 Companion 1 CD or the ZENworks 6 Companion 2 CD.


2.0 Additional Documentation

Each ZENworks 6 product (Desktop Management, Handheld Management, Server Management, and so forth) includes detailed installation, upgrade, and administration documentation. The ZENworks 6 Getting Started guide (ZENworks6GettingStarted.pdf) references this documentation extensively. The documentation can be accessed from the ZENworks 6 CDs as follows:

We frequently update the ZENworks 6 installation, upgrade, and administration documentation with new information. You should check the ZENworks 6 documentation Web site for updated installation documentation before beginning your installation or upgrade.


3.0 Known Issues

Please see the Readme included with each of the ZENworks 6 products for known issues related to the product.


3.1 NetWare 6.5 Support

ZENworks 6 requires updates to Desktop Management, Server Management, and Web Self-Service to provide support on NetWare 6.5 servers. See the ZENworks 6 Update for NetWare 6.5 Readme for information about applying the updates.
