The Getting Started guide (ZENworks6GettingStarted.pdf) is located in the Documentation directory on the ZENworks 6 Companion 1 CD or the ZENworks 6 Companion 2 CD.
Each ZENworks 6 product (Desktop Management, Handheld Management, Server Management, and so forth) includes detailed installation, upgrade, and administration documentation. The ZENworks 6 Getting Started guide (ZENworks6GettingStarted.pdf) references this documentation extensively. The documentation can be accessed from the ZENworks 6 CDs as follows:
Desktop Management: The Desktop Management installation program includes an option to view the installation documentation. Launch the winsetup.exe program located on the root of the ZENworks 6 Desktop Management Program CD.
Handheld Management: The Handheld Management installation program includes an option to view the installation documentation. Launch the setup.exe program located on the root of the ZENworks 6 Handheld Management Program CD.
Server Management: The Server Management installation program includes an option to view the installation documentation. Launch the winsetup.exe program located on the root of the ZENworks 6 Server Management Program CD.
Web Self-Service: Open the installation documentation (WebSelfServiceInstallation.pdf) at the root of the ZENworks 6 Web Self-Service Program CD.
Personality Migration: Go to the ZENworks 6 documentation Web site.
We frequently update the ZENworks 6 installation, upgrade, and administration documentation with new information. You should check the ZENworks 6 documentation Web site for updated installation documentation before beginning your installation or upgrade.
