9.5 Using a Variable to Change a Subscriber’s Console Prompt

The Subscriber can use the value of the PROMPT variable as its server console prompt.

In ConsoleOne, right-click a Subscriber object, then click Properties.
Select the Variables tab, then click Add.
In the Variables dialog box, provide information for the following fields:

Variable: Enter PROMPT as the variable name.

Value: Type the prompt text to be displayed. For example, %SERVER NAME% Subscriber could display as:

Description: Provide a meaningful note (optional).
Click OK twice.
