The Inventory Agent failed after GUID.ZFS is accidentally deleted when the ZENworks_for_Servers service is running

Explanation:  If SYS:\SYSTEM\GUID.ZFS is accidentally deleted when the ZENworks_for_Servers service is running, the Inventory Agent will fail.

Action:  Do the following:

  1. Stop the ZENworks_for_Servers_service.

  2. Stop the Inventory Agent by entering sys:\system\InvAgentStop.ncf at the server console prompt.

  3. After successfully stopping the Inventory Agent, restart the ZENworks_for_Servers_service.

The next schedule that enforces the Inventory Agent will be launched successfully and GUID.ZFS will be automatically created.

IMPORTANT:  Do not edit or delete GUID.ZFS.
