An LDAP (Microsoft Active Directory, NetIQ e-Directory, or Domain Services for Windows) setup is required to perform the ZENworks Reporting installation. User with LDAP credentials can log in to ZENworks Reporting. ZENworks Reporting User management is not possible through the ZENworks server. |

LDAP Authentication |
Simple bind authenticates the user, and allows user to access the application. Simple bind is where an application provides a Distinguished Name (DN) and password for that DN. To use a simple bind, the client must supply the DN of an existing LDAP entry and a password that matches the user password attribute for that entry. |
