Here are a few of the many awards garnered by Novell's products.

• Leading Software Group Honors Novell Solutions
  Novell's Linux and enterprise management services took home top honors for Best Open Source Solution and Best Asset Management Solution at the 2007 CODiE awards, the annual program led by the Software Industry and Information Association (SIIA) to recognize innovation in the software industry. SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop from Novell won in the open source category, while Novell ZENworks 7.5 Asset Management beat out the competition in the asset management category.
  
• InfoWorld 2007 Technology of the Year Award
  SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 has earned a 2007 InfoWorld Technology of the Year Award, being named "Best Linux Desktop". According to InfoWorld, "Novell's revamped desktop Linux* distribution combines professional fit and finish with unique usability features not available from other vendors. ...A class act, [SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop] 10 gives business users new reason to consider Linux for enterprise desktops.
  
• 'Best of Show' at LinuxWorld
  SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 from Novell was named "Best of Show" at the LinuxWorld Conference & Expo in San Francisco this week. In addition, SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop was named "Best Desktop Solution," and Novell AppArmor earned "Best Security Solution" honors.
  
• Bake-Off: 1st Place - 4 Linux Desktops Tackle The Enterprise
  Of the four enterprise desktops, Novell appears to be the most serious alternative to Microsoft Windows. For almost a year now, Novell has been offering an enterprise-class Linux desktop that competes with Windows on many levels.
