Overview

Identity Manager Driver 2.1 for JDBC is a component of the Identity Manager Integration Module for Database. This driver provides data integration between Novell® eDirectory™ and databases that support JDBC. Data changes are made automatically based on your business rules. For example, changes made in a JDBC database are transparently captured and copied into eDirectory. The driver also ensures that changes made to eDirectory are reflected in the JDBC databases.

Used in conjunction with other Identity Manager drivers and eDirectory, you can bi-directionally share data between databases and other applications on your network and outside the firewall in business partners' systems. In addition to supporting the following databases, the Identity Manager Driver 2.1 for JDBC provides a snap-shot of non-triggered data tables.
