Loading ...The directory’s increased functionality in the network makes it a critical component for management and decision-based computing. Since it is responsible for housing the various pieces that define the identity of an object and the objects security, its smooth functioning and health are paramount. This 4 hour, hands-on session will explore techniques for maintaining and troubleshooting eDirectory. Techniques for solving many of the challenges facing directory engineers will be demonstrated using the tools available to every administrator. This session will utilize a specially written version of DSClinic in Linux, made specifically for Novell eDirectory 8.8 Advanced Technical Training.
Prerequisites: Experience with eDirectory and it’s concepts. Also, experience working in a Linux environment is highly recommended.
