Overview
Dale Olds & Pat Felsted, two of the identity gurus involved in the Higgins and Bandit projects, update us on the progress of multi-vendor efforts to create a completely open source foundation for identity. Beyond the vision and hype of such efforts, they claim to have a working, free software implementation of CardSpace, the new system that Windows Vista uses for authentication and user identity.

We’ll be back with more full episodes of Novell Open Audio in February. Update your podcatcher to use the new feed now in order to get our “winterim bonus episodes.”
