A merger between the Open Source Development Lab and the Free Standards Group yields a new organization to advance open source software and Linux: The Linux Foundation. Executive Director for the Linux Foundation Jim Zemlin reveals how the new organization plans to carry forward the missions and goals of its two predecessor organizations. Then we briefly talk with Novell’s Markus Rex about what this merger might mean to Novell and SUSE Linux.
