We have diligently been installing the MS DST Patch by various methods including the MS critical update method (after they finally released it…) as well as ZfD and a few manual installs early on…

We had a bizarre situation where the patch was installed on an XP machine, however, appointment creation appeared as if the patch was not installed. We verified the installation and even reviewed the settings with TZEdit. The transition date was set to March 11, 2007 as it should.

Finally, we uninstalled the patch and reinstalled it and all was well. What a mess.

Now, to my real feedback… We are creating a “mass” appointment for Noon on Sunday, March 11, 2007, via the “*.*.domain” method. We are instructing the user to contact the Help Desk if the appointment is listed for anytime other than Noon in our particular time zone.

The bottom line is that appointments during the three week window are listed correctly. Sending an appointment during that window seems to be the best way to verify it all.
