Grouping NNLS Servers

NNLS servers can be grouped to enable you to easily update packages on one or more servers in this group. Details about this group are stored in an RCD Group object in Novell eDirectoryTM. After NNLS servers are added to an RCD group, software packages can be added, removed, and updated.

RCD Group objects can reside anywhere in your tree, and you can create as many RCD groups as needed.

Creating a New RCD Group

  1. Click the Create RCD Group task in the Resource Management role.

  2. Specify the name and context for the RCD Group object.

  3. Click OK to create the object.
