Replacing License Certificates

You can have SCL and UAL license certificates in the same NDS context.

Some UAL certificates require that you delete the SCL license certificates.

  1. Using NetWare Administrator, right-click the License Certificate object.

    You might need to expand the License Container object (Novell + NetWare 5 Server + 500).

  2. Click Delete > Yes.

Then install UAL license certificates. See Install License Certificates in NLS Administration.

You can use NetWare Administrator or NWCONFIG to install the certificates. If you use NetWare Administrator, you need to make a server assignment manually.

If you install NetWare Cluster Services, the installation program automatically replaces server base and server connection license certificates with NetWare Cluster certificates.
