When you install a NetWare® 5.1 server, the installation program automatically installs Novell® Licensing Services (NLS) on that server.
By default, the installation program also installs a server base license certificate and a 5 Connections license certificate. These certificates are for a Server Connection License (SCL) model.
To use the User Access License (UAL) model for NetWare, you replace the server base license and server connection license certificates with UAL certificates.
If you install NetWare Cluster Services, the installation program for NetWare Cluster Services replaces SCL certificates with UAL certificates.
