SetupNLS.EXE shipped with NLS 5 and NLS 5.01. This program installs NLS on NetWare 4 and NetWare 5 servers. (With NetWare 5.1, you use Deployment Manager to do this.)
On NetWare 4 servers, SetupNLS.EXE modifies the AUTOEXEC.NCF file to include the following line:
LOAD NLSLSP
This line is already in the AUTOEXEC.NCF files on NetWare 5 servers. SetupNLS.EXE copies a new NLSLSP.NLM file, unloads the earlier file, and loads the new file.
SetupNLS.EXE also copies a new NLSAPI.NLM file to the server. This file isn't available on NetWare 4 or NetWare 5 servers until the server is rebooted or the program is manually loaded and reloaded.
Also, rebooting the server causes the changes to take place in updated NLS files and updated NLS objects.
IMPORTANT: Before rebooting a server, either choose a time when no users are logged in or notify users that they will temporarily lose their connections to that server.
