NetWare 6 Support Pack 1 Beta provides new Licensing modules that permit the viewing of Policy information for license certificates. Although the necessary modules are installed with the Support Pack Beta, the installation process does not provide a mechanism to update NDS to permit Novell iManager to display this information. To update Novell iManager to permit viewing of certificate policy information, complete the following steps:
Install the NetWare 6 Support Pack Beta.
Open Novell iManager on the server and select Configure. (The icon of a person sitting at a desk, near the top of the browser.)
Click Role Based Services Setup > Install Plugin.
Click NLS plugin, and browse to the Role Based Services container in the tree and start the process.
When you have completed these steps, start a new browser. When you view the Manage License Properties, you should now see a Policy tab for each license. Also, the Install a License option should have a view button which will permit an administrator to view the type of license selected prior to installing the selected certificate.
