v-GO* extends the benefits of Novell® Single Sign-on to 80% of all Windows-, Web-, and host-based applications without requiring any additional programming. You can configure the specific settings for v-GO centrally through ConsoleOneTM. Users can configure specific settings at the client workstation.
After you install the Single Sign-on client software, the following Single Sign-on icon appears in the Windows* system tray.

You can access all client management tools by clicking this icon.
After installing v-GO for Novell Single Sign-on on a workstation (and before running v-GO for the first time), be sure to authenticate the user to the proper NDS® eDirectoryTM tree and object.
An association between the logged in Windows user, v-GO's local store, and Novell SecretStoreTM on the NDS user object is made at this time. While the target NDS User object may be reset later, it's best to ensure the user is logged in to the correct NDS tree and user account at installation time.
The Logon Manager utility is built in to the v-GO client. This utility allows you to manage all of your logons stored with Single Sign-on.
Log in to your NDS tree.
From the Windows system tray, click the Single Sign-on icon.
Select My Logons.
The Logon Manager utility displays.
Complete the desired actions.
You can use the v-GO client to modify your client preferences. To change preferences:
Log in to your NDS tree.
From the Windows system tray, click the Single Sign-on icon.
Select Settings.
Complete the desired actions.
If you change your password directly within an application or other password-protected program, v-GO might experience a problem detecting the change. In some cases, you might need to delete your password in v-GO and create a new one.
To change passwords, use SecretStore Status or SecretStore Manager.
