exteNd Composer Enterprise Edition makes integration easy. It ships with two connectors: exteNd Composer JDBC Connect for integrating databases and exteNd Composer LDAP Connect for integrating applications that use Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directories—including Novell eDirectory. Separately sold Composer Connectors provide swift integration for mainframes, AS/400s, legacy VAX/VMS systems, Unisys T27 applications, UNIX environments, relational databases, transaction processes, and multiple legacy and Web applications.
In addition, the Composer Process Manager offers a unique visual design environment that enables you to quickly assemble complex processes and test them with an animation feature. Finally, exteNd Composer supports all existing and emerging Web services standards, including SOAP, WSDL, UDDI and WSFL.
Once your legacy applications and environments are XML-enabled, they can be used as Web services components and deployed to a J2EE-compliant application server. exteNd Composer works with application servers produced by Novell, BEA WebLogic and IBM WebSphere.
