Making Exchange Accounts Dependent on NT Accounts

If Exchange and NT drivers are used in the same environment for the same users, each driver will create an account for the same user. To cause Exchange and NT to reference the same account, configure the Exchange driver to use the account created by the NT driver.

To create this relationship, you need to make minor changes to the Exchange driver configuration. No change is necessary for the NT driver.

1. Edit the Filter on the Exchange driver and set the attribute of DirXML-NTAccountName to Subscribe:Synchronize.

2. Edit the Create Policy on the subscriber channel and add the DirXML-NTAccountName as a required attribute.
