Abstract: Patch for the Fan-Out Platform Services (on Linux and Solaris). This patch replaces the platform services for Linux/Unix and the Midrange i5/OS.
Also, if you have already updated to IDM 4.0 you may skip the Midrange i5/OS section. The Platform updates in this patch are the same that shipped with IDM 4.0.1 If you have updated to IDM 4.0.1 you may skip this patch.

If you are still on IDM 3.6.1 you should first install the Core-driver part of the IDM 4.0-3.6.1 Fan-Out Core and Platform Patch 1 Build 3.6.13 patch before this patch.
