Abstract: This download contains UNIXLIB.NLM 15.15.10, May 31, 2005. This is intended to be used only on NetWare 6.0 SP5, and corrects a problem where files and directories created by NetWare users on NSS volumes are always owned by UID 0 (root) and GID 1 when viewed from Linux / Unix, rather than owned by the UID and GID assigned to the NetWare user. However, in correcting this, an NFS performance improvement introduced in NetWare 6.0 SP5 had to be removed. This fix is not needed if the only NFS exports are traditional (legacy) NetWare volumes.

Fix for userpassword upper and lower bounds

Abstract: In some trees, the attribute 'userpassword' was initially added with incorrect upper and lower bounds of FFFFFFFF (-1), making it essentially unusable. The scripts in this download will remove the existing userpassword attribute definition and replace it with the correct definition. These scripts require a minimum eDirectory version of 8.7.1. These scripts changed between "userpfix.exe" and "userpfix2.exe" in that they were modified to account for schema classes that could be present if certain Novell Zen products are installed. Furthermore, the userpfix2.exe download was altered April 26, 2005, only to modify this readme (Issue section).

Abstract: This HOSTG.NLM (3.10f, October 9, 2001) has been rebuilt to be aware that one of NETDB.NLM's data structures was modified in NETDB.NLM version 4.10a. Do not use this HOSTG.NLM with versions of NETDB.NLM older than 4.10a. This NLM is intended for systems running NFS 2.3, NFS 2.4, NFS 3.0, UNIX Print Services 2.3x, and UNIX Print Services 2.5. This download was rebuilt in March 2003. The only changes were to the readme, and to change the status from beta to public.
