product details

NetVision NVMonitor
NVMonitor provides real-time monitoring of identity and access related events and information. As system users authenticate, update accounts or rights, or otherwise interact with eDirectory, NVMonitor compares that activity to organizational policies in real time. It can then record information for reporting, send email alerts, or initiate additional processes according to your business rules. NVMonitor provides extremely fine-grained control over event monitoring ensuring that collected information is highly relevant to your organization's needs.

By comparing enterprise directory and file system events to policy in real-time, NVMonitor serves as a centralized platform for tracking the effectiveness of identity management workflows and administrative behavior without manual, system-by-system monitoring. NVMonitor tracks provisioning, de-provisioning, access rights changes, password changes and more. It also enables independent event sampling, forensics, real-time response to serious security violations and detection of transient activity. The results are reduced costs, improved audit integrity and increased security.

In addition to fine-grained control over which events are processed, NVMonitor is extremely easy to deploy and often provides desired results on day one.

NVMonitor works with NetVision's NVAssess periodic audit reporting solution to enable the industry's only unified and continuous model for audit of identity and access information.
